Building Bridges

A concerto composed by local school pupils during the Music in Action project, led by Jason Thornton and the Bath Philharmonia Creative Learning Team.

The concerto, based on the Cello concerto by Elgar – one of the works performed at the BathPhil concert that evening, was the culmination of a five day workshop.

Y The Shaldon Festival Choir 2012


The 2012 appearance of the Shaldon Festival Choir that each year attracts 200 singers to work with a well-known guest Musical Director in a day-long choral workshop that ends with a public performance. 2012 featured Musical Director Jonathan Watts conducting Handel’s Messiah, with piano accompaniment by Peter Adcock.
